Market FinReg鈥檚 Unique Transaction Identifier (UTI) generation and exchange platform is ready for testing.
Under the Securities Financing Transactions Regulation, many firms are required to generate and disseminate UTIs.
According to Market FinReg, the platform is proving popular because it is 鈥渢he most secure鈥� in the market, it is simple to use, and highly-cost effective.
There is no data handover and Market FinReg explained that by using a proprietary technique, they do not see or store trade data.
Additionally, the solution doubles up as a pre-trade repository (TR) matching platform, Market FinReg noted.
This means that Market FinReg鈥檚 clients and their counterparties are reporting fundamentally correct information before it reaches the TR.
