SteelEye, a London-based compliance technology and data analytics firm, has appointed Rob Bernstein from Bloomberg as its new chief financial officer (CFO) as part of its latest expansion push.
As CFO, Bernstein will lead SteelEye's financial operations and report directly into SteelEye鈥檚 CEO, Matt Smith.
Bernstein was most recently CFO at RegTek Solutions, which was acquired by Bloomberg in August 2019. Before that, he was CFO at TIM Group between 2010 and 2018.
In a statement on the hire, SteelEye describes how Bernstein has led both organic and acquisition growth strategies and debt and equity financing, executing on three trade sales of tech-enabled fast-growth businesses.

His appointment marks the latest step in SteelEye鈥檚 growth as a service provider and comes weeks after , an investment management firm, to provide trade surveillance, best execution and record keeping.
