Broadridge Financial Solutions has promoted its senior account manager Paul Wilson to sales director in securities finance and collateral management (SFCM) in Europe, the Middle East and Africa as well as Asia Pacific.

Wilson, who has been with the corporate service provider since September 2017, is now responsible for growing demand for the SFCM solution in the international sector as well as continuing to provide support to current clients.

Based in London, Wilson will report to John Ridout, Broadridge’s managing director of sales.

Prior to Broadridge, Wilson worked at Sharegain, as head of clients for a year.

Before then, he worked for 4Sight Financial Software for just over eight years between 2012 and 2016 in numerous roles, including product director, where he was responsible for global sales and production development in repo, collateral management, optimisation and swap solutions.

Before that he also worked at ION Trading as a senior consultant in pre-sales for three years from 2005.

Wilson’s previous position has been taken over by Lisa Pickup, who brings more than 25 years experience in securities finance and has spent the past 14 years as a director and securities lending trader at Credit Suisse.

Her prior roles include five years as Citadel Investment Group’s head of stock loan operations and, before that, assistant manager for stock loan operations at London Global Securities, now part of Credit Suisse.

Her career also involved an initial stint with Credit Suisse where she was responsible for equity finance operations between 1997 and 2000.
