Ken DeGiglio, chief information officer of EquiLend, has been appointed as president of the Wall Street Technology Association for 2023.
He takes over the presidency of the not-for-profit organisation alongside his role at EquiLend, having served on WSTA鈥檚 board of directors since 2017.
Commenting on his appointment, DeGiglio says: 鈥淭he WSTA serves an important role in education, networking and driving technology innovation on Wall Street and throughout the financial services industry. I am excited to serve as the organisation鈥檚 president at a critical juncture for our industry, where we see digital transformation accelerating the pace of technological advancement.鈥
DeGiglio has a career in securities finance and financial technology spanning three decades, including positions at TD Ameritrade, Morgan Stanley, Robertson Stephens and J.P. Morgan prior to working at EquiLend. He was also a founder of Renaissance Trading Technologies.
