Clear Street has appointed Thomas Bonville as managing director and head of derivatives sales.
Based in New York, Bonville will report to global head of distribution Patrick Travers, who joined the firm in February 2022 to oversee and lead all sales teams.
As the financial technology firm adds derivatives to its menu of prime brokerage offerings, Bonville will help spearhead this effort in his new role.
Clear Street offers traditional prime-brokerage services including clearing, custody, capital introduction, securities lending and margin lending.
Bonville joins Clear Street from a managing director and head of sales position at Macro Risk Advisors, which he had held since 2021.
Bonville was previously managing director of equity derivatives sales at Wells Fargo from 2013 to 2021. During his career, Bonville spent 15 years in senior equity derivative sales roles at Nomura, Bank of America and Goldman Sachs.
