Citi appoints Fabio Lisanti

Citi has appointed Fabio Lisanti as markets head for Switzerland and Liechtenstein after the retirement of Robert Schmoll, effective immediately.

Schmoll will assume this new role in addition to his current responsibilities as markets head for Italy, Greece and Cyprus.

Lisanti will report to Leo Arduini, Conor Davis and Kristine Braden.

He joined Citi in 2016 and has more than 22 years of markets experience, having held numerous client, sector and product responsibilities at Citi and UBS.

At UBS Lisanti was head of global debt capital markets and client solutions. During 2016, he also held roles in the CEO offices of UBS Investment Bank and BSI Bank.

In an internal memo, Citi said: “Lisanti’s appointment reflects the deep talent pool that we have at Citi and we are confident that his extensive industry expertise will help us further strengthen our top-ranked markets franchise in Switzerland. Please join‎ us in congratulating Lisanti on his appointment and wishing him every success in his new role."
